Launched in Shanghai Marriott Hotel on 22nd July, the fifth International Poultry Forum China remarks that sustainable development is supported by three indispensable factors, namely environment, society and economy. Focusing on “ Environmental Friendly and Sustainable Development”, the forum brought together experts, leaders and guests from enterprises and relevant institutes of foreign and domestic pig industry chain including Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Shanghai Food Safety Federation, China Animal Agriculture Association, Chinese Veterinary Medical Association, IPC, China Agricultural University, Cobb, Yisheng, Fovo Foods, Sunner, Kemin Industries, Yukou Poultry, Xiaoming Nong Mu, Hongxuan Agriculture, CP Group, Shineway Group, New Hope Liuhe to explore various subjects such as poultry dropping treatment and its recycling, the production and promotion of organic fertilizer, poultry ecological breeding and farm animal welfare. More than 200 Representatives from poultry industry, egg industry, feed industry, Veterinary Vaccines industry and animal health product manufacturing industry shared their researches and core observation.
General Manager of LyJa Media Li Dingding in her welcoming speech elaborated that “we have discussed plenty of issues on the forum over past four years such as how to communicate with government; how to connect with consumers; and how to build new development mode; etc. However, when all those issues still remain unsettled, new issues show up. This year, the forum mainly focuses on the topic “Environmental-friendly and Sustainable Development of Poultry Industry”, covering a serious of issues: poultry waste disposal and reusing; poultry health; food safety of chicken and egg; enterprise management; talents introducing; and the inheritance of enterprise culture.

There was a specially designed exhibition area for enterprises to display their sustainable development programs of relevant poultry industry. Enterprises such as Cobb, Fovo Foods, Kemin Industries, Venco Groep, Pulike Biological, Nutritech Solution, KiNG, Haineng Bioengineering, Zhongyu Technology, MTC, FAMSUN, Marel Stork, and HONEST all displayed their programs on the exhibition area.
“The Opening Ceremony of Shanghai Poultry Food Festival 2016” was launched On the banquet. In the ceremony, Secretary General of Shanghai Food Safety Federation Jiang Peizhen presented a speech upon “How to Promote Healthy Consumption of Poultry Meat and Egg in China”. Besides, a diverse “Lucky Draw” activities were hosted on the banquet.
IPFC will be launched each year with one session, already successfully operated in Shanghai and Beijing for four sessions. In 2016, it welcomes its sixth session cooperated by LyJa Media with its Poultry International China magazine, Shanghai Food Safety Federation, and Shanghai Poultry Trade Association, lasting for two days.
